What Is Princess House
What is Princess House? Is it an MLM or a modern enigma? With rising popularity, what is Princess House doing right? Is Princess House a sleeping beauty?
Marketing kitchen and cookware through parties is generally regarded as o9ld hat, these days. Most people make the internet their first stop for this kind of product.
Princess House products are not cheap and they claim to sell only high quality goods. Are Princess House parties something special? All I can say is that their popularity is rising.
I would personally market these Princess House products through affiliate marketing because I am not a great party organiser.

What is the Princess House Business, Overview?
Princess House offers a range of entertainment, bakeware cookware and cutlery products. They have a range of homeware serve ware and decorative items and focusses largely on kitchen and dining room products.
Princess House markets mainly through direct sales through their consultants, often by demonstrations or parties.
Princess House was started in 1963 in the U.S.A. and the majority of the distributors/consultants are in the USA and Puerto Rico.
What is Princess House About?
The main theme in Princess House is running parties to sell kitchen ware.
Princess House does sell a wide range of household good and they are not limited to just cookware.
They recommend three parties a month to earn about $450 a month and some decent cookware to keep for yourself as a beginner.
Princess House is primarily based in the USA and Puerto Rico. Princess House does not appear to operate in the UK at the moment although you can buy some of their products on the UK eBay and Amazon.
Once you have established yourself as an organiser of parties, you will need to find as many people to hold Princess House parties as possible. The party holders also receive gifts and discounts on certain products as an inducement to hold a party. Normally these Princess House parties are held in people’s homes.
As you run out of friends and family to host parties for you, you will need to promote yourself as a Princess House Distributer and this can best be done through internet marketing and social media. (To learn how to do this, click below.)
What Does Princess House Do?
Princess House is a predominantly women lead organisation.
Princess House has over 37,000 distributors.
Princess House consultants (distributors) earn about $125 per party although this obviously depends on sales at the party. There are added bonuses when you hit certain monthly targets but you start off at a 25% commission.
Princess House claim to give lifetime guarantees on most of their products.
The only bad reviews I could find, on Princess House, related to difficulties in getting Princess House to honour those guarantees. I must say that, with the massive annual sales Princess House make, sometimes things go wrong.
Their stainless steel cookware is all supersized which makes me think that Princess House is targeting large wealthy families or very hungry customers.
They do ranges of tools and utensils and you could probably stock the whole of your kitchen from their catalogues.
The Princess House catalogues are beautifully photographed and give an impression of high quality at a high price.
The Good in Princess House
- If I entertained a lot and had need of large sized, high quality cookware I would have me a Princess House party.
- Princess House have good quality products
- The training and support in Princess house for distributors is excellent.
- The Princess House reward system is generous and rewards active distributors.
- You can plan your own work around your other commitments.
The Bad in Princess House
- Princess House is run as an MLM based on parties and demonstrations. This does not work as well as it used to. Maybe more people are buying from the comfort of their armchairs and with their smart phones in their hands.
- Princess House does not seem to be all that active in Europe and the UK.
- A Princess house distributor will have to organise at least 2 parties a week to enable a potential income of $1000 a month. You can do a lot more business on the internet with affiliate marketing.
- There are reputed issues with the Princess House guarantees on some products although my opinion is that nothing, that is used daily in the kitchen, will last forever.
- You really need to be a highly organised outgoing person with a wide circle of friends and other contacts to succeed in Princess House.
- You can work around your own commitments but you need to be looking at least 2 Princess House parties a week to make any kind of decent money.
- Princess House products are a little expensive.
Who is Princess House for?
- Princess House products lend themselves to people with large houses and families who are house proud and enjoy culinary experiences.
- I think that if you have that wide circle of friends and enjoy entertaining, then your natural friends probably do as well. Princess house products could well inspire you and become an integral part of your life and business.
- Do you enjoy organising parties for yourself and others?
- Do you have a sense of pride and humour?
- Maybe Princess House products are for you.
Who is the Princess House Not for?
- If you are desperate for money and need to find some quickly, you may feel pressurised to organise Princess House parties and that will reflect in your general humour.
- If you are not keen on having lots of people in your home and especially in your kitchen, perhaps Princess House is not for you. Maybe Affiliate Marketing would suit you better and be more financially suitable.
What are the Princess House Tools and Training?
From what I can see, the training and support in Princess House is excellent and they really want you to succeed.
It is not in Princess House interests to have struggling distributors, so they are careful with their recruitment and support.
Pricing and Upsells Princess House
It costs about $140 to get the Princess House starter pack of well over $400 of kitchen goods. Let’s face it, you need to show people what you have got and how to use it.
If your kitchen is not stocked with Princess House kitchen ware, who will believe your promotion.
You will probably have to stock up with further bits and pieces along the way as you learn your trade in Princess House. A lot of the extras can be earned by having successful Princess House parties.
What are the Pros and Cons in Princess House?
- Princess House products are good quality.
- The training is good in Princess House.
- The support in Princess House is good.
- The money in Princess House is OK if you are very active.
- The money in Princess House is not fantastic.
- You really need to be out organising a lot of Princess House parties.
- You can eventually run out of friends and acquaintances and have to canvas hard to get more people to let you run Princess House parties in their homes.
- It is predominantly women in the organisation.
- Princess House distributors are really in an MLM structure.
Princess House Scam or not
Princess House is definitely not a scam.

Verdict: Princess House Recommended or Not?
As a modern MLM, Princess House is a definite “Yes! I recommend it.”
I do think that modern marketing can produce better results and the techniques and skills are there to be learnt. Affiliate marketing does not involve stock or recruiting people at all.
This review is my personal opinion based on some years of experience and a lot of really excellent training. I have made mistakes and I have learnt some expensive lessons.

Hi HappyB,
Thanks for sharing review of Princess House! After reading through your article, I found out that this kind of MLM is not really for me because you have to deal with actual inventories and you have to recruit people to succeed in Princess House. I think affiliate marketing is more desirable for me to achieve financial freedom.
Glenda
Thanks Glenda.
I do think Princess House is one of the best MLMs you can find but if that does not suit your preferences and lifestyle, you are right to go in your chosen direction.
With affiliate marketing, you can choose the products or services you want to promote, rather than being told what to sell.
At least with Affiliate marketing, the choices are yours and you do not have to recruit, which is the hardest part of MLMs.
There is a lot of marketing in affiliate marketing and that is the real focus of the business.
Good luck in the future Glenda.
This looks like and interesting way to make some money if you have plenty of family and friends to socialize with. If you have a keen interest in cooking and cookware then I think the parties could be quite fun.
Do you know if a distributor has to make a minimum amount of sales per month to keep the distributorship?
Thanks Nick.
Yes, there are targets for each month but, in my opinion, they are not onerous because they are based around how many parties you hold per month and then the sales you make.
The training is so good that if you do the number of parties they suggest, you will make an average of a certain level of sales.
I think their distributor acceptance is also a strong filter. They select people who have the right kind of personality and interests who are likely to succeed. This is a big plus with Princess House.
Thanks for the follow-up HappyB. This sounds like a solid opportunity for the right kind of person
Thanks Nick.
I agree with you.
So, Princess House is the modern Tupperware? It seems very similar, though the product line seems a bit more diverse than Tupperware. I agree with you that they seem to be targeting high-class consumers who can sell high-dollar items to people with money. I have a family of four, and I am intrigued by the larger size of their pots and pans. I like to cook extra so that we can have leftovers for lunch or dinner the next day. It allows me to save time, and sometimes I will make big portions and freeze them in single-serving storage dishes. Some of these pans might work well for that, and I do love stainless steel.
Thanks Theresa, Yes, I think you have coined the phrase there, “The New Tupperware.”
Like you, I am a sucker for Stainless steel. It seems such a clean way to prepare food. They do ordinary sizes as well but seem to offer the large ones as incentives to their distributors. Very similar to Tupperware’s party incentives.
The sort of pans you need for large parties and also Autumn jam making. I make Elderflower cordial every year and that takes some large pans. Need a large kitchen for them, as well.
Hey HappyB,
Princess House kinda reminds of Thirty-one Gifts and Mary Kay, a female-oriented MLM business and it’s interesting to see how fast they can come to that huge level.
Is it restricted to female only, or can men join as well? But doing those home parties takes me back to the age of Tupperware
Hi Riaz,
Yes, very similar to Mary Kay.
To the best of my knowledge, there is no restriction on guys joining. The focus is very much on parties and a concept of “housewives” getting together and sharing cooking and baking experiences. I do feel this is a little out-dated and personally would encourage them to expand their thinking into a more mixed gender approach. After all, there are plenty of men who enjoy baking, cooking, looking after the home as well.
Princess House do filter their applicants but I have not managed to ascertain what their criteria are. I know they like people who are motivated and energetic. This is actually a step up from most MLMs, who recruit people who are willing to pay, full stop,
I did try and find a distributor near where I live but there do not seem to be any.
Did you have a go at Mary Kay? or any other MLM?
