First You Get the Money, and then You Get the Power

Not everyone agrees that, first you get the money, then you get the power. In many places, this would happen, but it depends on the power and how you use it.

 

First you get the money, and then you get the power. How do you explain this?  There are many different opinions, and different people have different choices. Not everyone likes to use their power.

 

For ordinary people: first you get the money, and then you get the power to buy what you need or want the most. It often depends on what is most important to that person, at that time. Often this means people seek money for different reasons.

 

 

 

 

When You Get the Money, what Happens?

Basically, for most people, when you first get the money,

 

• you will go out to a hotel or restaurant, treat yourself and family to a nice meal,
• stay a few days in a hotel,
• buy new clothes for yourself and family members,
• go to travel with family or friends or maybe on your own.,
• buy a new house where you would be happy to live.
• Treat yourself to a new car.

 

I’m sure you can add more to this list.

 

All these are first reactions to when you get the money and then you get the power to enable yourself to do them.

 

Because of this topic, I often ask other people’s opinions. I try to list all the other people’s imagined or real life reactions to when money comes to them.

 

You Get the Money, What Next?

• First you get the money, then you get the power to do what you want to do:
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to quit your job, say bye-bye to your boss.
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to stay in your job but with no pressure, no stress. You can leave anytime you like. You are not frightened of the sack because you have enough money to survive. You can continue to work, just for fun. Even if the company is going to be closed down, you have the power to make choices without worrying.
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to buy anything you want to buy and without a second thought.
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to go to the beauty salon every day to have your face and hair washed and groomed. Maybe you will have the beauty therapist visit you at home.
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to design your own clothes, bags, jewellery, etc. They can be tailored to your own personal style. You could maybe employ your own fashion designer.
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to send your children to the best school to get a better education. This is what most parents would love to do.

 

 

First You Get the Money, Then There’s More

• First you get the money, and then you get the power to employ someone to teach you something you have always wanted to learn; a musical instrument, Tai Chi or how to water ski without falling into the water.
• First you get the money, then you get the power to help other people who are near to you and you have always wanted to help.
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to pay someone to do your housework (cleaning, cooking, ironing, etc.) while you do something you would prefer doing. Maybe you are somebody who enjoys doing all your own housework, without getting any help.
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to pay for the best massage expert to give you that all over massage to make you feel like a million dollars, (or whatever your currency is.)
• First you get the money, then you get the power and you can organise a trip to Hong Kong for the morning to have a Dian Sam breakfast and then in the afternoon, enjoy a luxury dinner in London.
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to buy food without feeling hungry, meaning you choose what you want to eat, not something cheap or on special offer.
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to buy a house to live in, not stay outside in the cold and rain.
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to live with dignity. When you can make more choices, you can feel proud. It is easy to have to swallow your pride and do what others tell you when you have little money
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to live a happy life with no pressure.
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to get better medical treatment and better care, especially if you are sick or old.
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to make choices about your own future life, (some people, in this world, don’t have that choice).
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to enjoy an exciting or peaceful retirement life. (We all have different dreams about what we would like to do in our retirement.)

 

 

 

You Get the Money and the Power in Yourself

• First you get the money, and then you get the power to achieve self-realization. Most of us have ambitions and dreams and say to ourselves: “If only I had the money, I would …..” What would you do if you had the money?
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to improve the quality of life for yourself and your family.
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to arrange family gatherings every month (nowadays a lot of families don’t live in the same location, sometimes even live in different countries).
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to live wherever you want, in whichever country you choose, perhaps have homes in several different countries.
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to do something you can’t do without money. Remember your dreams. They can change and grow bigger when you have the power to fulfill them.
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to give yourself the freedom to enjoy experiences that life can give you. There are so many things that we push to one side because we do not believe we will ever have the money to do them. With the power, you can consider them possible again.
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to be the master of money, not a slave to money. Money controls a lot of us and yet it is only a tool. With the power, you can learn how to take control of the money and get it to work for you.
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to get others to listen to your voice. It is amazing how, when you have money, people pay more attention to your opinions.
• First you get the money, and then you get the power to do charity, to give away some of your wealth and help others. That can make you feel really good about yourself.

• First you get the money, and then you get the power to travel around the world. See all those places you have seen on T.V. and YouTube.

 

 

When You Get the Money, will it Make You Happy?

If you think of money as your ultimate goal, you will be destroyed by your money.

 

Money itself cannot be the end goal or ultimate source of happiness. Because people need to achieve a truly meaningful source of happiness in the process of challenge, practice, help, and sharing.

 

Money can help them along the way and make things easier to achieve.

 

You get the money and your problems do not go away, they just change. It is true that you can empower yourself with more money but it requires:

 

• Hard work
• Dedication
• Application,
• Study
• More hard work.

 

You get the money and the power by being focussed and determined, not just now, for the foreseeable future.

It is important that you know why you want to get more money. It is not enough to just want more of it. What will you do when you get more money?

There are many ways but all of them have similar requirements.
